I’m a birth doula serving the San Diego area. After spending time with me, I hope you leave with a sense of calm, warmth, security and some laughs as well. Saying that I LOVE birth feels like a huge understatement. I love what the female body is capable of and its beautiful design to bring life into the world. This experience is sacred to me, and it is a privilege to witness yours.

Outside of doula work, my current job as a Behavior Interventionist at an elementary school influences my birth work as well! Because of my experience in this field, I truly understand what it means to meet people where they are and personalize their care. More than just skills, I deeply love every person I work with in any given context through tangible, high-quality service.

Because birth is an intimate experience, you deserve to know who is going to be in your room. I am a Christian who loves the Lord. This means that I believe everyone has inherent value and is worthy of dignity and respect. I also carry a deep appreciation for the God-given, natural design of the female body to give birth. You do not have to share my beliefs for me to serve you! As a firm advocate of informed consent, I believe you deserve transparency about who I am. If you choose me as your doula, I will approach your background with curiosity, respect, and deep care.

Redeemed Doula is more than just a business name for me. It represents who I am: a redeemed sinner saved by Christ, and it represents what I believe about birth: that the narratives surrounding birth can be redeemed by hope.

Soy Cristiana. Esto significa que yo creo que todas las personas tienen un valor intrínseco y son dignas de respeto y dignidad. No tienes que tener las mismas creencias que yo para poder soportarte. Si me escojes como tu doula, voy a tratarte con respeto y amabilidad.

Doula Redimida es más que un nombre de negocio. Representa quien soy yo: redimida por Cristo, y representa lo que creo sobre parto: que la cultura de parto puede ser redimida por esperanza.
